Cool Garden Art

Learn how to transform garage sale treasures into cool stuff for your garden. Ideas will be shared on how to turn castoffs and salvage items into unique accessories for your home or garden or even gifts for your friends.

Programs are designed to be fun and educational.  They can be used for groups large or small.  Why not get a group of friends together and spend a few hours learning something new? Programs are 60 minutes long and cost $75 per group

Tea: Blends, Origins, Contemporary Etiquette

This program will show you how the tea leaf goes from bush to cup and you will learn how to make an herbal tea for every month of the year.  Learn

about the origins and blends of your favorite teas. Also brush up on your

etiquette with tips from a certified tea etiquette consultant.

Preserving Your Harvest

You have this wonderful garden full of herbs and flowers and now old jack frost is coming and you want to save all this beauty for winter enjoyment or cooking. I will share methods for preserving those beautiful flowers and herbs.

The Victorian Lady

Learn some of the practices and customs of the Victorian era. Calling cards, lanuguage of the fan, Tussie Mussie's, the well appointed writing desk and appropriate victorian attire will all be discussed.

Go Green to Clean

Topics that will be discussed are effective green cleaning tips, basic ingredients used in most "green" cleaners, essential oils needed for your cleaning cupboard, herbal hints for the home, insect repellents and common sense rules from Grandma Blanche.

Learn about the horticulture and many uses of this wonderful herb.  Beverages, foods, crafts and aromatherapy will be

discussed.  Also included is a demonstration on how to infuse lavender in order to make your own herbal oil

their pain and sickness.  Without the use of modern medicine,

our ancestors had to find ways to stay well and heal their wounds.

Todays American Girl Doll Club
